In this message, we look at the importance of true worship versus that which is called formalism containing rituals and the like in comparison to that which Abel offered to God. In Genesis 4 we see a contrast of two men who very well knew God’s requirement for proper worship, offerings, and sacrifices. As Christ followers we need to take pay close attention to how Abel offered his best and his first fruit of the flock with it’s fat to God because of his love for God. We then see the ultimate sacrifice in how God gave His best in the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, we need to worship God accordingly in everything we do! He should be the morning star that rises in our hearts and He should be the one we thank, praise, and adore when we go to sleep.![]()

In this message, we’re going to look at the third example that James uses in his letter to the believers who are being taken advantage of and exploited. He emphasises on enduring and persevering. As we know, Job is a prime example of perseverance and the end of all sufferimg, trils, and tribulations is that James once us to know and remember that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful. James then reminds us that we ought to be very careful with our mouths and in making oaths and invoking the name of God. As believers we need to make sure that our yes is yes and our no is no. Otherwise, judgement will be based on using the Lord’s name in vain and hypocrisy. ![]()

In this message we look at King David and his understanding of God’s omniscience, Omnipresence, and especially His omnipotence. It is here where David understands how God Almighty shapes, forms, fashions, and creates life. As Christ followers we should all be proponents for life and we look at the unprecedented war on human life dating back to the garden. Unfortunately, because people do not want to submit to God they get handed over to a debased mind and do acts of abomination in the sight and eyes of God. May we all as Bible believing Christians be the voice for the innocent. ![]()

In this message we look at James’ example of the Old Testament prophets and how they through their personal trials and tribulations as mouthpieces for God endured suffering, but did so with patience. It does not matter our circumstances but as James encourages us it matters on who the Lord is, and how we as believers should love in light of His soon return. We take a look at the ministry of an Old Testament prophet and how they were rejected by Israel in a call for repentance and turning to God. As the believers at the time of James’ writing we’re struggling with exploitation and being taken advantage of James reminds them to use the prophets as an example and take encouragement in imitation. ![]()
